Non-Surgical Abortion

Our non-surgical abortions are offered to women who are in the early stages of their pregnancy. This option utilizes a regimen of two medications to complete the abortion rather than having a surgical procedure. Non-surgical abortions are available up to 9 weeks after your last menstrual period. This is an option for women who do not want to undergo the surgical procedure early in the pregnancy. The non-surgical abortion, commonly called "medication abortion" consists of two medications. The first medication is administered by the clinician in the office. The clinician will give you the second medication to administer yourself in the comfort of your own home. This method will stop the pregnancy from growing and chemically induce a miscarriage. Some women prefer the non-surgical abortion because it can be completed at home and many feel it is a more "natural" option. This has proven to be a viable and effective option for many women.
