Capital Women's Group Response to Anti-Choice Rumors

Addressing rumors put forth by Anti-Choice Websites

Washington, D.C.: Capital Women's would like to address a number of rumors put forth by Anti-Choice websites regarding our practice. In an effort to undermine our facility anti-choice writers and activists are spreading rumors and false information, so we are setting the record straight.

Capital Women's Group was founded by our Medical Director, Dr. Rose, a Board-Certified Obstetrician and Gynecologist who is a former Associate Professor of Clinical Obstetrics and Gynecology at George Washington University. Dr. Rose has been performing abortion procedures since 1970 and was a founding member of a national abortion organization. Dr. Rose sat on it's first Standards and Implementation Committee and helped develop their first set of standards.

All women deserve access to high quality, reproductive healthcare and it is our goal at Capital Women's Group to ensure they get that care, despite what anti-choice activists want. Caring for our patients is the number one priority at Capital Women's Group.
